Bangor Physiotherapy & Pilates is a well established quality family practice which has been well known within the community for nearly 50 years. The practice was established by the renowned Jenny Archer who started as a sole practitioner and now enjoys working with her 2 physio daughters Susie and Alice, physio niece Tori, physio colleague Dave and sports therapist Mark. Bangor Physiotherapy’s ethos has always thrived on delivering quality assured treatments and honest advice. We base our “hands on” therapies and rehabilitation skills on evidence-based practice, so we are always up-to-date and ready to help with well tried and tested physiotherapy techniques and exercise rehabilitation.
As well as physio we have a well established physio-led pilates programme with classes taken by Physios Joanna and Kathryn. The classes are mixed ability with personalised 1-1 sessions available alongside pre and post natal classes.

TESTIMONIALS
Janette Sherman Services
‘Bangor Physiotherapy has been pivotal in helping me manage severe and sustained back pain following a prolapsed disc resulting in cauda equina syndrome. This has caused on-going pain and mobility issues. Alice has assisted my pain management with a range of treatments all being effective with good results. I have movement back in areas I didn’t expect and a vast improvement with regards to the pain. She is extremely knowledgeable and has always answered my questions with regards to my condition. I wouldn’t trust any other practice. The whole team are very professional and friendly’.

‘After I had my stroke and went through the NHS rehab programme, I was recommended to contact Bangor Physiotherapy to get some physiotherapy to aid my recovery. I have been going regularly over the years and have noticed a big improvement in my condition. The physios are very aware of what I can and cannot do and treat me accordingly. The physios are all very experienced in treating all types of aches and pains. I would have no hesitation in recommending them if you have a problem which would benefit from some treatment. I have certainly benefitted’.

‘The staff at Bangor Physiotherapy all provide a very personal service. They ensure that there is always a very calming, professional and friendly atmosphere at the practice. I received a Total Knee Replacement. My physio, Jenny Archer, was really efficient in dealing with my mobility problems and in helping me to obtain optimum fitness before and after surgery. Jenny explained everything about the operation and recovery in a simple and understandable way. This definitely made me feel more at ease and aided a more positive recovery’.
